This deck is primarily built in a vacuum, in Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block. At this point I'd like to just go ahead and open it up to all sets, so any advice would be most welcome. I'd like to keep it relatively budget, though.
Quest for pure flame is pretty controllable too, at least in terms of what it hits. Could fuel a monster turn.
Yeah, that's cool. Repeatable mass damage, and the indestructibility of the doll helps it stay on the battlefield.What about any doublers like Furnace of Rath?
Yeah boros charm would be a cool combo with any of the mass damage spells in the deck. Single target, low damage stuff is tougher to justify in this deck. I like how it's easy to make the deck work in multiplayer with all of the mass damage options.
Skred is a cool idea.The Meteor is nice, and I think I even have one lying around. But I'm not sure adding another one-of is great, even as an alpha-strike, as it were.The Act, I like. Would be great for multiplayer games.As for my own changes, I'd like to reduce the one-ofs, of course. I'm not completely sold on the Refraction Traps, they seem expensive if my opponent(s) are not playing red. Boros Reckoner is strictly better than Spitemare in this deck. Someday I'd like to swap that Pariah's Shield for a second, actual Pariah.
Ha! Cool. I will see if I can squeeze it in. There are other changes I would like to make to this deck, too.

I changed it up a tad. Swapped Jaya for Faithless looting, the Sun thingy for Lightning Axe, and the cycle lands for Valakut.I'm considering changing out the 4 Rites of Flame for 2 Braids of Fire, 1 Faithless Looting, and either a third Braid or a third Chandra not sure.

That's a nice idea.The deck is vulnerable to something like Blood Moon. My basic land count is quite small, and at best I have an overreliance on multi-lands. The Lantern will help, and I even have one lying around unused. Any more advice on that score?

Yes well... I only have the one Chandra at the moment :( I'm working on getting some and I'll update the deck when I do! In the mean time I would appreciate any adviceo n this deck!
Yeah I went a bit overboard when I was making it :) I'll tone it down a little bit to be more casual-friendly.
