Avacyn's church will gain life quickly so this will help to keep them at bay. Halt your opponents creatures with Souls of the Faultless and Pillory of the Sleepless. The Avacyn church lacks creatures with flying, use this to your advantage when your opponents life gets lower. Finally Merciless Eviction, Gift of Orzhova and Sanguine Bond are all cards that can drastically influence the late game.
