Crash you opponent in the blood of their own armies! This is a casual, Rakdos, deck that aims to control the battle by killing off your opponent's creatures. This deck is part of my Revised series and is modern legal. A series built around rebuilding decks I either had or have to make them stronger. This deck also falls under $100. This deck was given the Favorite Award. Those decks given the Favorite Award are among the few decks that I’ve designed that I like the most.
To play this deck you want to kill of your opponent's forces while also dealing damage to your foes directly. In order to control the battlefield you'll want to kill your opponent's creatures; Lava Dart, Blazing Volley, and Lightning Bolt can help in the early game. Terminate will be your spell of choice for stronger creatures. You have a plethora of spells that can ping all of your opponents creatures. While this can take out weak creatures and tokens, when you pair this with some of your creatures it becomes very lethal. Torbran turns these spells from a wide ping to a lightning storm and Judith/Pestilent Spirit turn these spells into a one sided board wipe. Once your opponent has a dead army in their graveyard Dragonlord Kolaghan can quickly end your enemies in a storm of fire and lightning.
