This is a casual mono blue control deck that utilizes the card Stasis to remove the untap phase. A casual deck gains this title if the deck is not legal in Standard or Modern format. This deck falls into the Under $100 series. The Under $100 series was designed to offer competitive decks for an affordable price.
The main goal of this deck is to remove the untap phase and wait till your opponent draws out. This deck is slow to kill but near impossible to stop once the combo is off. The three combo pieces are Frozen Aether, Chronatog, and Stasis. Frozen Aether causes your opponents land to enter the battlefield tapped. Stasis will remove the untap step making your opponent unable to untap lands. Ordinarily this would be a problem for you, since you need to pay Stasis' upkeep cost. However, Chronatog allows you to skip your turn. This helps because it not only makes Chronatog stronger, but it also means that you don't have to pay the upkeep cost of Stasis. Additionally, you never draw, which means you don't have to worry about milling yourself out. Each of your instants allow you to not only control your opponents battlefield, but also bring lands back to your hand that you can play again. In the event you are not skipping turns with Chronatog, Lotus Petal and Forsaken City are helpful cards for paying Stasis' upkeep cost. Spellbook allows you to build up a sizable hand for dealing with whatever your opponent does to try and break the combo. Finally, Feldon's cane is backup for Chronatog in the even your find yourself about to draw the last card in your library.
