Deck discussion for John's mill deck

a good combo with hedron crabs are the fetch lands terramorphic expanse and evolving wilds. i dont know if youre just using cards you have access to or are buying ones you need. memory sluice is a one drop to mill 8 if you have two creatures and 4 if not.. spellskite is another good way to avoid damage to you and your creatures.

Thanks for the suggestions i thought that fetchlands would slow the deck down a lot but now that I think about it everything is so cheap it wouldn't affect it too much

Why not replace one or two of the Erasures with a Curse of the Bloody Tome?

Seen as they're more reliable, and you don't actually have to remember to declare their effect (not that that's a huge thing, buut. Also, your Erasures can only mill for 2 10 times, while CotBT will do that infinitely.
Just a thought

I see what you're saying but this deck revolves around getting jace's erasures and archivists out...Theoretically If I get all four erasures out I mill for 4 every turn, 12 for one brainstorm, 28 for an archivists ability (assuming a good mill where I get rid of numerous lands so that your opponent can't play anything)
Thanks for the suggestion tho...any deck you want me to look at

Theoretically, Though always having 7 cards in your hand, even with Blue, is unlikely but I'll go with it :P

I don't have anything other than my Green/White beat-stick, though I'll take any advice you're willing to give on it:

I find that Jace's Archivist is a little bit slow for a mill deck especially vs arggo decks. But if you were going to run Jace's Archivist, I wouldn't run more than 2 or 3 tops. I think you need more mill cards. Dream Twist is also nice because it allows you to mill and flash back.

I been toying around with my mill deck for the past three months now and this is what I came out with:

So far I find this to be a very good balance vs most decks. It is still not perfect but I'm still toying around with it. Tell me what you think. Also I purposely ran no creatures to have fun with a no creature theme mill deck.

Spellskite FTW! One of the most underated cards in Standard at the moment. I would personally main deck Spellskite. Just saying

Spellskite is AMAZING...it's just expensive for me :(
