My Grixis Control deck that achieves to be geared heavily towards surviving the early game and winning on a 4 turn clock at minimum.
Start off with casting Thoughtseize or IoK to get rid of threats your opponents have.Next Mana Leak would be ideal, and if not that, then possibly, Serum Visions with Fatal Push.In certain cases you could then play Tombstalker if you have filled your graveyard a bit. This would create a clock which could win in the next 4 turns. Ashiok is also a decent option here as Modern has lots of very cheap, and efficient creatures, so it could be used to steal Snapcaster Mage, Tarmogyolf, Young Pyromancer, possibly Dark Confidant. Assuming Ashiok is not killed off you would be able to get 2 creatures in. After this point, simply deal with threats while beating down the opponent with Tombstalker, or this could be the turn to play Kalitas, and either use him to create a zombie token army or simply power him up.
