Designed to take a hard to kill creature, make him deadly enough to avoid combat until later in the game, and then finishing off anyone left within a few turns. Might need some more defenses and removal, but until I actually test it, There isn't much more that I can do.
Mana ramp if possible in the early game, then pop out thrun and buff him until you are ready to go for the killing blow.
