My inspiration for this deck was the card treasure cruise. It has two things i really like.1. it lets me draw three cards2. it can potentially cost just 1 mana to castCombo this with deranged assistant, armored skaab, or one of the low cost burn spells, and you can dig through your deck very quickly especially if you have reforge the soul.
i like to open up with lightning bolt, chain lightning, or grim lavamancer. after that i get out deranged assistant or chandra's phoenix. at that point you should try to use something to either send cards to your grave, or use the cards that are already in your grave for something like treasure cruise or grim lavamancer. whenever you are forced into a corner it is fine to get rid of a phoenix or two and maybe your demigod or vengeance. asides from that, just try to burn your opponent and his creatures so you can attack with your demigods and phoenix.
