One day in a tiny little card shop in California, i decided to buy a clash pack. the clash pack had a red and green devotion deck. it sucked. i decided to improve upon the deck for a limited amount of cash (less than $100) and made this little gem. you bring out your little elves and coursers, then bring out the genesis hydras, then acolyte and Nykthos for 80 mana on a broodmaster's monstrosity effect to overwhelm your opponent with more creatures than they thought possible. all this as a $60 standard deck.
Main playstyle:You of course start out with elvish mystic and voyaging satyr to get you enough mana for either your courser or karametra's acolyte. once you do that you get the game warden or genesis hydra to search for either more mana ramp or hydra broodmaster. Once you have the broodmaster out you have to hurry up and use his monstrosity effect for at least 20 mana, so you can have some heavy hitters to survive and then you can wait for a second broodmaster to go in for with around 40 mana. Once you do that you can almost guarantee that you can overwhelm them.Other tactics:Verdant haven on a land to make you satyr worth the 2 mana and increase your devotion.Can use the game warden for getting the disciple out in case you need some life.Nissa's expedition and courser of Kruphix can filter out some land from your deck.
