Deck Description

elves, elves, and more elves. Keep sending the elves out, and then combo out using craterhoof behemoth, or just sheer numbers combined with coat of arms.

How to Play

There are many ways to combo out. You can Heritage druid + nettle elves for free mana when you play a green card. You don't need very many forests, because most of your mana comes within the deck and acts as forests with a creature type.... that happens to be elf. once you have enough mana to cast craterhoof (should occur within 6 rounds) you should be able to snag it from your deck with summoner's pact. cast him and finish off your opponent with a bundle of trample 10/10s.

fauna shaman can be used to give up a less needed elf for a more in demand one such as archdruid.

Regal force is great card to add around 5-10 cards to your hand

Nettle elves and heritage druid are the best mana boosters there are. once you have 2 nettle elves you can keep casting 3 mana elves without ever stopping. you use heritage druid to tap the 2 nettles elves, and whatever elf you played. when you play another elf you untap the two nettle elves, and repeat the process with the recently played elf.

Scryb Ranger is a very very nifty card. You can beef it up using magistrate and use him as an attacker without risking more needed elves for an evident combo, or the more common use is you can cheat out with double tapping the same forest while untapping another elf such as archdruid, magistrate, or fauna shaman. This is a very nice card for multiple reasons. To double tap a forest you use the forest for mana, and if you didn't drop a forest this turn you untap an elf, return the tapped forest to your hand, and replay/tap it afterwards.

I'm aware there are a lot of nice cards I can add for a few elves in here, but I want to keep it Modern approved.

Deck discussion for Elf Zerg

Looks like a fun Elf deck! I will definitely try this build out!

If you do. tell me how you like it. It may take a few games to finally get it down. But most games you should combo out before turn 7 with relative ease.

Seems cool. Regal Force has a good effect but it's probably not gonna move the deck any further than it already does. Consider Harmonize? Also definitely use Parallel Lives if you are going for tokens!

I do like parallel lives, but I only have 1 card that gives tokens. So I don't see it really worth putting in to try and combo it with 1 card.

I saw Elvish Promenade and thought that was part of the plan. How about Pelakka Wurm?
