Deck Description

I kinda wanna drop the Steel Overseers, anyone know any good 1 drops?

Here is yet another Tempered Steel build!

Enjoy!

Mostly T2, outside of some small changes..

I pretty much just saw Glaze Fiend and thought about Tempered Steel, and while I'm pretty sure this is not competitive by any means, I still think it looks pretty fun.

A huge mix of various formats, and doesn't really fit into any of them. I suppose this is a silly attempt at a casual deck.

So you might ask, if its not a super competitive deck build then why did I make it such an expensive build? Because WHY THE HELL NOT?????? XD Like I said, its just a silly little casual deck. Something that me and my friends might proxy up in in a fit of creativity, and truth be told, I kinda wanna see Tempered Steel make waves outside of Standard. So perhaps this could help expand the uses of this otherwise great card.

Deck discussion for Not-So-Standard Tempered Steel?

15 land? Really? O.o Even in a deck with this low a curve, I'd be nervous running so little. Maybe, since this is casual, throw in some of the artifact lands?

Perhaps, but what I noticed that all I really needed was 1 or 2 lands and a Mox Opal. But yes, perhaps the remaining Plains could be turned into artifact lands. That would certainly help with the Mox.

I drew a lot of sample hands with this land curve and I only landed 1 or 2 bad hands, and ironically one of those was because I was mana swamped.. XD You just have to make sure you shuffle really good after each match so your mana doesn't get bunched up, but hell, I've seen some Red decks running on 12 mana sources. That is crazy and would make me nervous, so I decided to be a little generous with the mana.
