Deck Description

*still working on the sideboard*
Budget modern deck that has lots of synergy. Not sure whether to have Athreos in MB or the immortal servitudes/proclamation or a mixture of both.

How to Play

play your one-drops and get xathrid necromancer/skirsdag high priest out as soon as you can, start building up army of zombies and demons.
Return everything back into play using Immortal Servitude/Proclamation/Athreos and then sac everything using either one of the Aristocrats and win through either a giant falkenrath Aristocrat or by draining them with multiple Blood artists.

Deck discussion for Budget Modern Sacrifice

Is extended still a format? I thought that Modern kicked it out :/

To me, it looks like you're lacking in gaining from the sacs. Blood Artist could be one that helps. Also, creatures that come back from the graveyard (undying anyone?) will also help a lot.

Yea I thought that to, but I occasionally see some people play it so I thought why not.

I never thought of blood artist. Undying seems like it would fit well, but a few cards care about Humans being dying, and there's no human creatures with undying. Thanks for you input

There's always Undying Evil. And Loyal Cathar is human and he returns from the graveyard.

That is true....what about now?

I'd bump Blood Artist up to 4x (or at least 3x), it's going to be a key card in finishing games / keeping you alive.

what should I take out? A dictate? another altar's reap?

Leave the Dictate alone, it's your board control.

Altar's Reap is nice, but how badly do you need the draw? I'd actually take out the Elite Vanguards. Yes, they're a nice vanilla creature, but that's also the problem, it's a vanilla creature and doesn't contribute to much when it or others die.

I'm not really seeing. I've got Tragic slip to deal with big creatures. What would I take out to put it in?

I'm sorry, I mean for sb. The fact that it forces them to sacrifice can get rid of he proof creatures, emrakul, and indestructible creatures.
