Deck discussion for Standard zombies!

i would try running more removal, due to zombies generally running slowly. so what i usually do is i run about 45% of the deck as removal, but you dont have to go that overboard with it. but definately add some more removal, like doom blade, GFTT, and geths verdict

I mostly agree with manafreak here, but i think i would add in purely go for the throat, mainly because if you need to you could even kill your own creatures that way. I would also take out a army of the damned because in my personal experience with my casual format zombie deck, it really is a win condition. Unless your opponent is specifically saving a day of judgment just for that, there isnt a way to come back from 13 2/2's. I would also add in a couple more unbreathing horde just because if you are playing a controll freak and he cancles all of your mini zombies, you can play unbreathing for 3 and have him be a kick ass win con with 10 zombies already in the gy.

no prob. Another thing to think about for standard is you may sideboard an artifac or two like nim deathmantle because its rather solid +2+2 ev en if its mana cost is a little bit high for what it does, still, i like it.

heres my advice
-2 call to the grace (this is too slow, unless you're playing mutiplayer, plus they can decide what creature they want to sack.)
+1 go for the throat
+1 distress
-2 disentomb (ghoulcallers chant is strictly better for a zombie tribal deck)
+2 ghoulcallers chant
-2 bump in the night (not really that useful for this deck, plus you can't flashback it)
+2 distress

Another creature you may consider using is Skinrender. he is a solid 3/3 for 4 that gives a creture 3 -1/-1 counters. whats better is that if it dies, you can put it back into your hand and play it again. Can you check out my zombie deck and comment on it? Thank you.

I tend to go for a control theme with my zombies. Lots of discard cards, and a fair amount of removal. I run lashwrites because by the time I play it I have at least a 4/4 and I can equip it to another zombie if needbe. I especially like running phyrexian crusader because it IS a zombie with protection and 1st strike. The infect throws people off and equpied with lashwrithe it can easily win a game for you. ESPECIALLY against white weenie decks. Please check it out and comment please.
