Try throwing in some Utabi drakes.
Why? They shrink with Doran in play, they don't interact with Petroglyphs, and they are expensive if you want to keep them alive.
theyre not to keep alive. there a good beginner card. nobody has a 2/1 flyer first turn. and i get your reasoning. and i forgot to mention armadillo cloak. thats always a nice addition in a green/white
