Deck Description

I have little experience in magic, and this deck, its a series of ideias that I have. Dont know if its crap, but I like taking adventage of combos. BAsically the base of the is Trostani, using her ability to gain life, and combine that with Sanguine bond and maybe with Voracius wurm, triguering the combo. I know that due to my inexperience this deck could, use some help. So please be my guest and give me your feedback.

Deck discussion for A bunch of crazy ideas...

This is a casual deck right? Because it looks like one. There are a lot of out of place creatures and spells that look like you're playing three different deck strategies in one, and, excuse me if I'm wrong, those look like: Lifegain (Sanguine Bond, Angelic Accord, Trostani, Voracious Wurm, Saruli Gatekeepers, Path of Bravery, etc...), Tokens (Trostani, Rootborn Defences, Advent of the Wurm, Selesnya Charm, Angelic Accord, etc...), and Hexproof (Fencing Ace, Frontline Medic, Unflinching Courage, etc...). I think you are more focused on Lifegain, then for the initial fixing, drop Fencing Ace and Frontline Medic, since they don't help you very much. Add in a full playset of Voracious Wurm, Advent of the Wurm, Angelic Accord, and Sanguine Bond, since they are some of your most powerful cards that help your lifegain combo work. And finally, since you're playing black, please add more removal! Doom Blade, Putrefy, Abrupt Decay are just some of many of your top notch removal spells.

On a side note, you can add the tokens theme to your deck if you want to, you just have to add more token generators and, since you're playing guildgates, you could add some Sunspire Gatekeepers.

THANKS For the feedback, eh I Have little experience, in magic, so when I thinked of this deck I tryd to mix token, lifegain and hexprof, maybe its not the best idea, but I tryd to make a casual deck with post rotation cards. But in a future I would like to create a more solid deck to test my luck in a FNM. I understand It it has a lot of work, but have to experiment.

I like the lifegain - token combo, So i will take your feedback in account, thanks very much.

You have some good cards but like the previous commenter said, you lack synergy in this deck. Narrow your deck down to one mission statement. i.e. "I want to achieve X combo." or "I want to life gain and pump creatures to bury my opponent." A deck without focus or cohesion will seldom perform consistently.

Secondly, you have way too many high CMC cards. If you want to play competitively (I have learned this from experience), you really shouldn't have any more than 10 or so cards that are 4+ CMC. Right now, you have 14. Remember that your average Standard game will only last 5 turns. So, by turn 5 you need to be ready to finish the game or at least have enough board presence to keep the game going. (Life gain can help here and so can control elements in Black like the previous guy mentioned. Doom Blade, Putrefy, etc.)

Anyway, cool cards and good luck.

Its a good point, I will try to focus my deck and cut in the more expensive cards. Thanks for the help, as you can see I really need it.
