Deck Description

Once I saw innistrads Undead Alchemist I was in love, I've always wanted a mill deck but found them typically lacking in creatures for defending. With this deck I get the best of both worlds and if I get myself in some trouble I can always unsummon and swing for straight damage.

How to Play

Deranged Assistants and Phantasmal bears ( Or whatever one drop I find able to fill Phantasmal bears place in standard) give me the early mana/bodies needed for Stitched Drakes and armored Skaabs (Or if I'm lucky a skaab ruinator). From there an undead Alchemist is usually out on the board, and with stitched drakes usually being easy early damage the zombie tokens begin to fill the board, using Trepanation blade and dream twist to make sure the process goes even faster.

Deck discussion for Undead Tides

I like this deck but is it a milling deck?

In a way yes, just not through traditional means. The Undead Alchemist turns all damage done by your creatures (since they are all zombies for the most part) into mill, every creature that goes into the graveyard via zombie damage mill you get another 2/2 zombie. You could however build up a bunch of 2/2 zombie tokens and unsummon your Undead Alchemist and swing for lethal as well. the deck could go either way but it's primarily a mill.
