Destroy the enemy's lands while amassing spores. Thelon of havenwood will turn those innocent fungi into something much more formidable. If he doesn't want to show up that's fine too. Deathspore thallids have that name for a reason! Nothing kills as quietly as mold.
Start playing thallids and getting spore counters. Sporesower thallids/ sporoloth ancient will help hurry the process along. Once thelon of havenwood hits the scene those spore counters become +1/+1 counters. Until then destroy all the lands you can while keeping the battlefield clear with your instants, deathspore thallid's ability, and your opponents in ability to play anything with so few lands. Staying alive in the first few turns is the trick. He'll still have lands until you can play your Creeping molds and acid mosses. Verdant embrace and verdant force help put fodder on the field to protect you, or sacrificial fodder to the deathspore to clear up anything the enemy happened to play while he had lands.
