Deck Description

Don't spend the night in THIS village! you might not get out alive! With cannibals, zealots, Typhoid ridden rat infestations, and lingering souls who knows what could befall a weary traveler! Of course the locals are a lot tougher than they seem and are eager and ready to come to the defense of their little, creepy creepy hamlet when required. Don't mess with this village or they may decide running you out of town is too lenient a sentence!

How to Play

Gather the townsfolk and lingering souls give a decent numerical advantage creature wise early game. Champion of the parish gets bigger as villagers come out and angry mob and village cannibals get bigger when they die off. And there are plenty of ways for them to die. Corpse traders, Skirsdag flayer, and demonmail hauberk help them along if the enemy isn't up to the task. There are quite a few ways to put the enemy creatures in harms' way too. There's a good splash of malicious instants to kill off threats and clear the way for the mob to advance. Most of my wins with this deck come from the creature tokens. lingering souls can be flashbacked from the graveyard and gather the townsfolk is a great early game card to play; repeatedly if possible. Leyline of the Meek and Intangible Virtue both pump up tokens and Twilight Drover is great for making a ton of tokens to replace those that get knocked around. And if all hell breaks loose just cast a day of judgment and let their God sort em out. Honestly I made this deck as more of a story telling, RP kind of thing. But it holds it's own and is so much fun to play I keep coming back to it!
