A fun Vintage Splicer/Golem deck. (Could easily be made Modern legal by replacing Sol Ring, Brainstorm, and Liberate.) Using Venser, Momentary Blink, or Liberate to exile and return your Splicers makes for an army of Golems (I keep a stack of Golem tokens with the deck, as the Golems can build up quickly.) Venser + Stonehorn means your opponent doesn't get an attack the rest of the game.

sorry for just putting it like that. The combo is a lot of fun for golems. cast cackling counterpart on whichever golem you so desire, and all of them get copies because of precursor!
I've thought about Precursor Golem, but my concern is that it means one removal spell by my opponent would get rid of all my golems. I feel the deck runs well enough that the Precursor is too big a risk to be worth it.
