I've been planning to try my hand at a weekly Modern tournament my LGS hosts, but I've never felt like I've had a competitive deck. Izzet Delver looked fun, so I figured I'd give that a shot, on a budget. Advice is welcome.
-Delver is a cheap, flying threat that's hard to deal with right off the bat.-Serum Visions can help ensure that it Delver will be worth dropping-Gitaxian Probe tells you what spells to use, and what to hold onto-Counters, bounce, and burn keep your opponent at bay-Abbot and Stormchaser help spearhead your assault-Young Pyromancer pumps out tokens as you keep up a constant barrage of cheap spells

Keeping it budget themed I'd drop in a couple of man lands instead of basics for when you flood, yank 2 Electrolyze for the full set of Abbot and shave some counters for Izzet Charm.Good Luck.
