Deck Description

This deck strives to repeatedly punish your opponents with recursive burning from Flame Jab and Punishing Fires. Hostility turns the burning fires into hordes of screaming elemental demons that swarm your opponent with angry claws. And Hostility gets recycled so you can repeat your evil shenanigans again, even after death. MWAHAHaHAHA!!

----------------------------------------------------------

I really just wanted to make a deck around Hostility, and use Punishing Fires as well. It's really less Burn and almost a combo deck because of the tutoring and interactions.

Definitely very fun and can be adapted easily to be affordable for a more casual setting. Decent Deck due to Rite of Flames, Seething Song, and tutoring with Flamekin Harbinger.

To make it more casual, replace fetchlands with mountains.

Hostility and Incendiary Command are ~ $.50 rares. Grove of the Burnwillows is the main money at ~ $6. If you have a good pool of cards, you can make this for essentially the cost of the Burnwillows. ~$30. Or just do without :)

----------------------------------------------------------

If the Punishing Fires/Burnwillows combo doesn't work for you, you can either try harder and splashing green for Kavu Predator and Invigorate (this route seems to push for expensive dual lands - although the Zendikar Uncommons that gain you a life are cheap), or just increase the count of your Flame Jab to 4, and/or add more burn spells. Browbeat is normally a sub-par card, because they always take the damage if they can survive. But with Hostility on the field, it's the choice between 15 power of hastey dudes and 3 cards. So you'll get to draw with it then.

----------------------------------------------------------

Note I edited the sideboard and changed the fetchlands to wooded foothills - terramorphic expanse can work instead of the wooded foothills if you want the possibility of splashing a bit of green.
Gloomwidow's Feast can be replaced by fissure, but I find that decks that combo up to Iona are going to name red, and it is just as good at killing other fliers. It can usually deal with non fliers, aside from things like darksteel colossus.

Also, if lots of people around you run non-basic, non-fetchlands, you might want fulminator mage in your sideboard. And you can use him as a 1-of in the deck, but probably in a more controlling build with different answers. And maybe different colors.

Additionally I added Grinning Ignus as a 1-of to be fetched when you have a Harbinger, Hostility, and not quite enough mana sources.

Deck discussion for Burn in Hell aka Hostile Punishment

Would everlasting torment work with this, would it allow the damage and the tokens or just allow the damage. (I know this sort of thing can work in specific conditions but I'm not quite fluent enough with the technicalities to know if this meets those conditions)

What about Pyromancer's Ascension? Abuse those burn spells even more

I'm pretty sure everlasting torment does not work with the punishing fires/grove of the burnwillows combo.

Pyromancer's Ascention is unreliable if you can't get it early, and you need blue for draw, or cheap tutors (white or black) to really, reliably abuse it. Also, this deck hangs back until it can drop hostility (aside from using punish fires or browbeat) unless the opponent madrushes you.

Note: I've edited the sideboard and fetches so that the sideboard can be a bit better. Still looking to improve it more :)
