Deck Description

A friend of mine told me I should make a Legacy deck, so this is what I came up with. For the record, I also came up with the mill/Narcomoeba/Dread Return/Laboratory Maniac combo on my own, before I found out that people had already been doing it for a while! Oh well...

This deck should be pretty self-explainatory. Infinite self-millage with the Cephalid and Shuko, thus creating a bunch of Narcomoebas to sacrifice for Dread Return and Cabal Therapy. With the Bridges from Below in the graveyard as well, that creates a bunch of tokens that can be used for even more Dread Returning and Cabal Therapies. This way, both Dread Returns can be flashed back in the same turn to win the game with the Maniac and a Hapless Researcher (to draw that last card from an empty deck). Ideally, and if the opponent does nothing to stop you, this deck can win on turn two. All you need is a couple lands, a Shuko, and a Cephalid.

How to Play

Of course, this deck relies heavily on the Cephalid/Shuko combo, so if anyone uses a Surgical Extraction or something to get rid of them all, it's in trouble. Although not ideal, the sideboard has some big flying creatures that can be cast for cheap that can just slug away for some damage every turn, and hopefully that's enough to win. If all else fails, you can always make the opponent discard stuff with Cephalid Coliseums.

I dig it. Always like a good cephalid deck. Check out Crackdown Construct, he makes a great back up plan if they they run graveyard hate. Combo him with shuko to make a 1,000,000/1,000,000 creature is a lot of fun.

You may want to reconsider your anti graveyard hate tech, both of your selections are also hurt buy graveyard removal.

Keep on brewing!
