Well, here's the current version of my constantly evolving mono black deck. It works as any suicide black deck should: by being a giant jerk all game. Lots of hand disruption to ruin the opponent's otherwise perfect opening hand, lots of dirt-cheap removal to ruin the opponent's otherwise perfect set-up, and lots of massive undercosted creatures to melt away their life total. True, you will probably end up losing lots of life in the process, but that's just a minor side effect.The sideboard cards are generally just direct substitutions for other cards in the deck. Is half your life too much to pay for 4 cards? Run read the Bones instead. Are they not running very many creatures? Run Phyrexian Negators and Surgical Extractions. A token deck, perhaps? Drown in Sorrow will take care of it.
