A upgrade to my original design for and artifact deck I made (not posted), fairly inexpensive with the goal being 5/5 attackers by turn 2. Over half the cards should be playable by turn 2 and in the mid/late game Scuttling Doom Engine + Shrapnel Blast can easily take off 1/2 of an opponent's original life.
Start off by playing Amulets, drums, constructs, and ornithopters. On turns 2-4 ensoul ornithopters or drums and sacrifice amulets for land if you are low. From there, play mongrels and equip them or ensouled creatures with chariots for first strike. Then play doom engines and kill them off with shrapnel blast for the 11 damage to the opponent. When you are all set up, you cane use mage network to store up mana and kill of basics with hammer for the golems, keeping mana in the mage-network for reserves.
