Deck Description

This deck is based around the control offered by anger of the gods, thoughtseize, and dissolve.

Thoughtseize is probably the most versatile spell since it allows us to peer in to their hand and execute a card for 1 mana and 2 health. Great for getting rid of those pesky supreme verdicts and detention spheres (among many others).

Anger of the gods in the mainboard forces us to play creatures of 4 or greater toughness. Leaving us open for a turn or two since we don't have much in the way of an early defense. Once it's rolling, though, anger is a great board wipe since it exiles creatures for you.

Next up is dissolve. A titan in the control industry, it not only cancels the enemy spell, but allows you to scry. Sort of an essential piece in control decks since it lets you make your own luck.

Once I knew these were the spells I wanted to play, I started thinking of ways to synergize these three colors and an unlikely thought occured: I can draw them to death.

This is accomplished with fate unraveler, master of the feast, dictate of kruphix, and keranos.

Dictate is an overlooked card in that people look at it as a double edged sword and nothing more. It doesn't always have to be suicide, though. Dictate triggers your fate unraveler an extra time on their turn, and give you an extra draw on yours. Yes, it's dangerous against burn decks, but what isn't?

Master of the Feast makes them fat and happy while giving you a 5/5 for 3. They might like the extra cards, until it becomes too much to handle and you blast them with a monstrous from stormbreath. Not to mention that extra damage tick from the unraveler.

Keranos provides us with the versatility of extra draws, spot removal, and blasts to the face.

The chasm skulker is the only bit I haven't playtested, but I'm looking forward to it. This could be a fun way to utilize the dictate and the keranos. I'll probably be adding another keranos and moving something else out. Updates coming in the future. Hope you all like it.
