Deck Description

This is the first deck I ever built back in 2011 when I had started playing. It has vastly changed over the years and will be upkeeping it as I find new cards that suit my fancy for this deck. Hence the name, it's like a new B movie monster special everytime I play it.

Any Creature you see in the sideboard have been previous creatures that did once exist in this deck. Obviously keeping this part Rare or higher, but that way you can see what creatures I once enjoyed or considered for the deck.

I also like to use this deck to teach people how to play. I'll let them use it since it's rather beginner friendly. "Oh but Kaaaaaat, a lot of the creatures have special abilities that can affect the game in a weird way, thats not beginner friendly at all!!!!!!!!" Bullshit. It teaches new players to pay attention to whats written on the cards and actually read into what the abilities do. Thats another thing I like to teach newbies. How to combat and how to read the damn cards. I feel as if combat is a trickier part of a turn to try and figure out since there are so many steps in that one part of the turn alone, and reading the cards is always important.

How to Play

You basically want to mana ramp into the bigger guys ASAP. If you get a hand that has no little guys, mulligan it, it's not worth keeping, no matter all the nice big creatures you see.

Llanowar Elves and Overgrown Battlement you don't attack with. If anything Mostly use them for mana ramp, use them for blockers if desperate or sure you can make them survive.

When my friend originally suggested Harrow I got mad because I thought the whole concept of sacrificing lands went against the idea of the deck. I was wrong, it's easily one of the best mana ramp cards in the deck and when paired with Garruk it gives me plenty of mana to play smaller creatures, particularly Leatherback Baloth; who is a great small guy who can be used for wither attacking or defending.

Now due to the vast selection of creatures it's not 100% who you're gonna get, but with the majority of them you should be able to get them out before your opponent can really stop it's effects unless they flat out counter it. It also helps if you pretend that they all of the text "attacks each turn if able" because this is more aggressive then defensive, the only creatures I advise against doing this with are your mana ramp buddies and Elderscale Wurm because you want to try and keep those guys alive. If you're playing defensive with this deck, you will lose a lot more often so do your best to be aggressive.

I had Garruk's Packleader and he didn't fit with the flow of the deck. Worldspine Wurm I'll definitely give a try, I like him, and Soul of the Harvest seems interesting, I will give him a try.
