Deck Description

This is my Elf swarm deck that I have had for years. I brought it out recently, and elves are still fun to play and I always did pretty well with this. There might be some better, newer cards at this point so I thought it would be worth looking in to upgrading a bit.

Updates:
Swapped Lush Growth out in favor of Nylea's Presence. Gives the same effect (path for forestwalk) but also a card draw. Since mana production never seems to be a problem here, I don't mind paying the extra 1 to draw a card.
I also have picked up copies of Genesis Wave and Lead the Stampede. Especially when playing against other decks with forests, you don't always need to create a path for your forestwalkers. I would exchange those cards for a couple of these to help bring more elves to the party.

I swap around the archer elves depending on the type of fliers I'm up against, and against decks with few or no fliers I would swap them out for Llanowars. Sometimes it is fun to sub in Eladamri in place of two of the Champions, but I try to keep things Modern and most of the time he stays in the box.

How to Play

I always went for the Champion-Forestwalk attack, using Lush Growth on my opponents to provide the forest. The alternative trick was pumping everyone with Jorga Warcaller, and pumping even more with Solidarity of Heros on it. Drove of Elves provides a big beatstick, while Promenade can give you a huge army to work with.
