Curve out with cheap creatures forcing your opponent to discard their hand. It wins either with small creature beatdown or by reanimating your opponents best threats with The Eldest Reborn. Macabre Waltz and Memorial to Folly both give the deck additional reach through recursion.

Depends what you consider a Rats deck, it's not Rat Tribal but Rats was the nickname my local community always called this style of black creature based disruption deck back in the day (after Ravenous Rats).
