Deck Description

Really need help with this deck. I don't personally own it but once I work out the kinks I plan on buying it thanks for any suggestions in advance.

How to Play

Just bounce everything the opponent plays and use the echo mage combo with your bounce. And lock your opponent down with zur's wierding while you beat away at their life with tokens via talrand.

Deck discussion for bounce 2 death

Looks fun to play! Nice mana curve! Echo mage and Guttersnipe combo is nice considering all the low mana costing spells.

Epic Experiment could be deadly in this deck!!! For 3 reasons! 1) Loads of Instant. 30 of them! 2) All of the 30 Instant cards are low mana. Take out the two Rescind. Now every instant and sorcery in your deck is 2 mana or less. 3) With low instant cards...there is a good chance you will quickly run out of cards to play. Experiment is like back up.

So, example. Turn 5. In theory, you could play Epic Experiment and exile the top three cards of your library...and you could get a Boomerang, Shock, and Unsummon. If you have Snipe in play, in this perfect example, you get to return a permanent, do 2 damage to creature or player, return a creature to their opponent's hand and do 6 points of damage via Guttersnipe.

Worth considering. Also cheap dual lands is a consideration too.

Even better perfect situation, which would never happen in real life. Take that example up above. Add in two extra mana and Echo Mage. He just copied Epic Experiment and you get to exile 3 more cards from the top of your library and play them (if they are instants...which some of them will be because you are running heavy with Instants).

Also consider Gelectrode, Tap him to do one damage. Play a Boomerang, untap him. Tap him again to do one damage. Sort of like Guttersnipe, in theory.

Barbarian Ring, maybe? It would do four damage combined with a Guttersnipe out, right? Not sure if you could copy it with Echo Mage...I mean, could the Barbarian Ring be sacked twice?

I would add 4 Sulfur Falls.

Nice, now add 2 more Howling Mine. I believe...you are using all of your blue spells for bounce and none for drawing power. It makes sense that you would want/need to keep your blue mana open for Echo Mage and for bouncing pesky threats your opponent has. You are trying to cast all of your cheap ass instant spells as fast as you can to power up Talrand and Guttersnipe. Howling Mine is going to increase your chance, every turn, to draw an instant card. That is going to help out 3 different cards in this deck, Talrand, Snipe, and Echo Mage.

I would go so far as to say that it would be a hard choice for me to choose second turn Howling Mine or bouncing a land with Boomerang/drastically reducing their speed. It is simple as me assuming your deck, as it is designed, would almost assuredly benefit more from each person drawing 2 cards per turn versus your opponent.

I won't really need a lot of draw power if I can get tamiyo out but if I were to add more howling mines what would you take out?
