The Arid Mesa's aren't worth loosing life over, sure they thin out your deck for the cards you need, but the mountains by themselves are fine. other than that, good deck!

thanks for the comment.
I was thinking about using Teetering Peaks but I don't know if it's worth the cost of having the land entering the battlefield tapped.

I dont seethe point of ark trail.

Also why would you include red-white fetches in a deck with no white? Did I miss somthing important? Why do so many decks have that?

it's to thin out your deck and it's so you can get the the mountain without it coming in tapped.

You might want to consider adding in some Chimeric Mass' You can use em for the 0 drop or later on for a bigger drop. Also check out Devastating Summons. After a few turns you can drop that to gain complete control of the board as long as you leave at least one mana left for removal.

and Brandon, mono color decks use fetch cards because when you use them, you are essentially taking 2 land cards out of your library (the fetch and the other) so that it increases your chance of drawing more useful cards. In a deck like this where you hardly need much mana, they are quite useful but definitely not necessary, it's all opinion.

Thanks for the comment.
I have thought of adding Chimeric Mass but I didn't know what card to take off the deck.
Also nice idea to add devastating summons.

I like it, except for the no thopters part. They're good if they have fliers for defense and good if they dont for when you use your battle cry and attack with them.

Replace the Flayer Husks for the Goblin with battle cry from Mirrodin Besieged that I can't remember.
