Deck Description

This deck allows many types of strategies, no matter who you are playing, there will always be a great chance of winning. Despite the small number of lands the deck runs perfectly fine with me.
Sun tzu would like to play with this deck.

How to Play

1 turn - play 'student of warfare'.
2 turn - up level 'student of warfare' and attack 3/3.
3 turn - play 'Silverblade paladin' paired with 'student of warfare' and attack 3/3 with double strike.
4 turn - play 'knight exemplar' or 'Elspeth, Knight-Errant' and attack.
5 turn - if stowing outnumbered, play 'wrath of good', the only creature who you will miss is the 'knight exemplar' and attack.
attack all the time...

Deck discussion for Cavalaria

ok, first off, KNIGHTS! second off, in a 60 card deck such as this, i usually run 20 lands, but considering the relatively low mana costs of this deck, 18 lands may work out fine. I would also put in a few knights with flying, but considering your selection of removal and control cards in this deck, they may not be necessary. anyways, i'm gonna stop ranting now haha.

You probably don't need the wrath or ghostly prison. You have plenty of creature presence to stop things hitting your face. Also you should check out a card called 'Brave the Elements'. I run a knight deck and it's a beast card.

goblins are faster than knights. to kill the goblins ghostly prison will need to have greater control over decks faster than mine, in this case 'Brave the Elements' is not very necessary. 'day of judgment' is very useful for when I have 'knight exemplar' on the battlefield all my knights are indestructible except the opponent's creatures, thanks.

Disagree--everything in this deck is super low cost, you can definitely afford to mulligan on the reg once or twice to make sure you get a couple lands. With a deck that curves out ultra low like this they're definitely not super necessary, especially being mono-white.

I'd drop Emeria, the sky ruin. It seems like a good card but you'd have to have 7 fucking plains on the battlefield in a deck that's only running 16 plains. Even if you use path to exile as a tutor for plains on your own 1/1 tokens or creatures, it's just not worth it.

Emeria already saved my life many times, 7 plains arrive very fast, even with only 16 plains in the deck Path is not necessary in my creatures, play this deck and see yourself, thanks.

Wow, I can't believe such a terrible deck has recieved this many likes! 18 land? so you'll be playing your Knight Exemplar on average, turns 4-6, and Hero of Bladehold on average turns 7-9? If you add more land, you'll be able to play more creatures thus making Ghostly Prison completely pointless... I bet the only reason it's in the deck, is because you only have the mana to play one creature per turn, turns 3- 20. Seriously Ghostly Prision in an Aggro deck? You're doing it wrong! Take out the Prisons and ADD MORE LAND!!!!

Well I must admit I agree to some degree. No arguing that this deck works well, every tribal does and this one has a nice selection of effective creatures, but it is far from perfect. You must have a lot of bad mulligans(I tried sample hands and I went to six or less more often than not), or maybe you are used to playing first mulligan into 7 with your friends, that may explain a lot. Still you are denying good suggestions from numerous players and I can see why. You need Ghostly Prison and Wrath of God (which are clearly out of deck, or sideboard material) to compensate for your slow start due to small number of lands and etb tapped Emeria.
That being said I agree that lands, Emeria and Ghostly Prison are problematic. But I would like to add one problem "of my own".
Your deck is completely based around single creature - Knight Exemplar - and you have literally no way of protecting him (to be exact, only with other copies of himself :-) ) For example, I believe your opponents react to your Wrath of God by killing him very often, thus creating hillarious moment when you clear your own board.
In the end, dont let yourself deluded by so many likes, try considering suggestion in the discussion and the reasons behind them, we just want to help. :-)

I would ditch Ghostly Prison. An aggro deck like this shouldn't be trying to slow the game down. Even worse, you have 4 maindeck Day of Judgements and Path to Exiles to take care of the opponent's creatures. What use is Ghostly Prison after you wipe the board? When would you ever want a Prison when you could be playing Silverblade Paladin or Knight Exemplar? I have played my fair share of WW and knights, enough to know that Prison isn't a card you want in a dedicated aggro deck. If you are worried about goblins or something, put them in the sideboard.

Now for the lands. Trying to run 18 is admirable, but if this is meant to be competitive you should play more. You NEED to make your first 3 land drops to stay ahead, with 18 lands that won't happen often enough even with KotWO. 21-22 is the lowest I would use if I were to run this deck, and that is ignoring the fact that you have Sun Titan and Emeria. Sun Titan will be a dead draw most of the time because you won't have enough lands to play it. Same with Emeria, in this deck it functions as a basic plains that comes into play tapped. Here is what I would do: (not saying you should, just a suggestion)

-4 Ghostly Prison (move to sideboard)
-2 Sun Titan
-2 Emeria
-1 Day of Judgement

+4 Plains
+4 Mother of Runes or Brave the Elements
+1 Elspeth, Knight Errant

These changes make the curve 12-12-8-8, which is better than 8-12-12-8-2.
Aether Vial is good in knights, consider playing it. Hope this helped.

Nice, I'll think about some things, but ghostly prison remains. Ghostly prison I would play instead of playing Silverblade because if the opponent controls 5 creatures and I just one, I would at a disadvantage. Thanks.

Nice deck. Your sideboard could use a few additions - Disenchant, Rest in Peace, and possibly Ivory Mask. You have only 2 O-Ring to handle Planeswalkers, Artifacts (Ensnaring Bridge) and enchantments (Cowardice etc) Bounce effects can hurt your deck. Brave the Elements really shines in mono white weenie. I also like Mother of Runes in your deck. You have aggro completely covered but seem weak against Combo and some Control builds. Good Burn decks should give you a tough match. However, still looks like an excellent fun deck. Nice first post.

while I am a big fan of ghostly prison, I would toss it for swords to plowshares, allowing you cheaper creature removal, which would put u up to 8 w cost removal spells, which combined with wrath of god, is perfect. Ghostly is a great card, but for its mana cost I think it will hinder you more than it will help you. It would do you more good to play a removal spell and still have left over mana to drop a creature. You don't want to waste a turn not playing a creature in a deck like this. Plus with the extra removal, it does more than enough to compensate its loss. After all, that's why you have Wrath of God in the first place right? To weed out all those annoying token town decks? I would as well toss out Brave The Elements for 2 more lands, so u would be running a solid 20. I realize u have ur heart set on 18, but the only thing I see wrong with it, is its lack of reassurance on getting that 3rd or 4th land. You don't want to get to that point where you are waiting on it and get smoked because of it. Other than that, awesome deck

I have another suggestion/nitpick- 8 Oblivion Rings in the sideboard doesn't really work but I'm sure it was an accident? Also, Brave the Elements I find to be situational at best, and really does nothing in a lot of games. With those 2 slots, you could bump your land count to 20- 18 is a bit too little when your deck holds 20 cards thar cost 3 or more mana. Honestly, I would probably go up to 22 lands here

0
Posted 12 July 2013 at 03:58

No, 20 max. You get way to many lands on a mono color deck with pretty low mana costs. 18 works really well.
But yeah, brave the elements should go. Just do flickering ward and concerted effort

hehehehe 8 Oblivion Rings was a true accident, thanks.

0
Posted 12 July 2013 at 04:29

Well 18 Plains and 2 Emerias won't work and the fact that only 30% of your cards are lands that can help you curve out isn't helpful- it leaves you with opening hands that more often than not only contain 2 lands, while a third of the deck is above that benchmarks. 3 lands if you count your first 3 draws after, but many hands just aren't worth that risk. These odds only get worse as you mulligan.

I like the deck! It, quite honestly, has inspired me to make a mono white knight deck that can potentially compete in modern at a high level. I think the wrath of god is much better then day of judgment, for the same cost it takes care of pesky creatures in the pod decks that are ever so prevalent.
Anyway, take a look at mine if you have a minute, thank you!
