Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

The idea is to discard them quickly while facing a Liliana's Caress,

Then leave them with few to no cards in hand facing Hellfire Mongrels, Painful Quandary, and Quest for the Nihil Stone.

This should hopefully allow for enough control to get set up, especially since you will know the opponents hand most of the time. Duress allows for artifact and plainswalker removal/control. Reverberate is added in case you are having trouble with a burn deck or spell based deck.

Kozilek is added for Mill defense, which is somewhat played in my meta. Shatter seems a bit redundant, but since duress doesnt allow for removal of artifact creatures it does server a purpose, but perhaps no more then Doom Blade.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Deck discussion for Discard to Death

What about blue/black. So you can use jace beleren, so your opponent has cards in his hand so he can discard. and so you can have counters: mana leak, negate, cancel, and if you play legacy: counterspell!

Well the problem with taking the kozilek is in my Meta, there is fair amount of people who play Mill decks, and Eldrazi is the perfect Mill defense.

As for adding in counterspells, the point of the discard is to prevent them from being able to actually cast much in the first place. Turn 1 you can Duress/Inquisition of Kozilek them to remove a low cost creature or any control they may have. After that you just start hitting them with more duress/inquisition or Psychic miasma to make them force away some of their bigger creatures which may be in their hand.

The thing with blue is ti adds in control after the fact, im going to pre-emtive control, by removing the cards from their hand before they can even play them. Plus knowing what is in their hand most of the time is incredibly useful.

Also, as for the legacy, I pretty much only play T2

What about a guilt feeder for another creature unless you play alot of black. But i also agree their are alot of great blue cards for discard. I did also notice your loosing the chance for card draw and could also speed it up with some dark rituals!
