Deck discussion for BloodCrank

I really don't see a way to easily bring out either of the two cards. You have a 4/60 chance of getting either of those in the opening hand. Maybe Diabolic Tutor?

I've been thinking about this. I really want to try this deck in real life (once Phyrexia drops) to see how it handles. The thing is that I feel like this deck will do pretty well even if I only have half of the combo out.

Any suggestions as to what I could possibly swap out for Diabolic Tutors? I'm thinking maybe 1 Go for the Throat, and 1 Wall of Omens (put 2 Diabolics in)?

Also the Sign in Bloods can help me draw towards what I need, depending on the situation. I love their versatility!

I don't think speed will really be an issue considering the curve, it really comes down to deck consistency. If you're trying to keep this standard it's hard for me to help (my collection consists of cards that are Fifth Dawn or older).

If you're just trying to make it work, it looks like you'll need some sort of stall to help prolong a game so you can lock it in place. Really what the deck is missing is manipulation, tutors, scry, draw mechanics, Divining Top, something that will give you card quality.

Sorry I can't be of anymore help, and thank you for your continued support with my Death Knights deck. Geth's Verdict looks like it will be finding a home in my Black Hole deck, if I can stomach dropping Chainer's Edict.

Thanks again!

Moriok Replica instead of Blademaster, it'll help thin out the deck and get to the combo pieces better. And i'd run 4 copies of Hideous End in a heart beat.
I'd drop throne of geth overall and maybe add Grim Affliction if you really want proliferate. At least then you can destroy a pesky 1/1 while you're at it.

Thanks for the feedback! It made me think a lot about some of my card selections.

I'm dropping the Blademaster (it pains me) because of his double white cost in favor of Pulse Trackers, which can help more quickly to get through with that crucial loss of 2 life.

Moriok Replicas are great for thinning, but they are far too expensive to be plausible. That's why I'm swapping Throne of Geth for Tezzeret's Gambit, so I'll have another way to thin AND can proliferate to speed up my combo. What I really liked about Throne was that it only cost 2, but all good Magic players know that thinning is winning...

Indeed, that's why I use the Moriok Replica's in my Sacrifice to Control deck. It feed the mortician beetles further and thins out the deck, coupled with Sign In Blood, it's a painful way to thinning, but sometimes... winning can be painful.

Bloodchief is so crazy. This seems to work really well but maybe you could sidboard those Revokes and put in another Sign in Blood and Diabolic Tutor or something cuz the only weakness I see is card acquiring, but even the way it is now I'm getting turn 4 wins pretty regularly

Yeah this seems to be working out pretty consistently. I'm considering SBing those Revokes but they are nice to have in a pinch when someone has some uber-drop (or if I came across another Bloodchief Deck :-p). I'm going to have to mull this over...ahhh just when I thought I had it all squared away baha

Yeah so you should take out 1 nihil spellbomb and 1 Surgical extraction out of sideboard to make room for revoke just trade them in if you come across someone who is raping you with some enchantment/art. b/c I mean this deck seems like it will do pretty well against a lot of types of decks, as long as your Bloodchief stays alive long enough. Just some thoughts

Thanks for the feedback man. I change my sideboard up a bit because you're right, Revoke Existence is a little bit specific when what I need to concentrate on is getting my combo out as quickly as possible.

- Revoke Existence (2)
+Diabolic Tutor (1)
+Sign in Blood (1)

Sign in Blood is so good it makes me feel sick...in a good way. I already know some friends who I will throw in a few Revokes specifically for, but in general this will run much better now.

nice this looks looks like it's running reallhy well now. I think I'm going to make a casual version of this for play with friends and use some Harm's ways instead of Inquisitor and Demonic tutors instead of Diabolic. I don't want to change it too much!
