Defender deck, meant for casual play.Sideboard is mainly for cards that I should get (/am thinking of getting) for my deck.I build my decks around a theme, so even though I'm open for suggestions, I wont add something like cats in my deck. I'm also icky towards older cards (from 10th edition to older), so most likely won't even consider those either.Also, 64 for some reason has become the main number of cards in my deck, so don't be too surprised about that.
There's couple of winning strategies you can pursue with this deck:The first winning strategy is to defend until you get a Warmonger's Chariot and Doran, The Siege Tower. This shouldn't prove to be that hard with the ammount of defenders in this deck. In turn 5 (slow, I know) you can swing with 20 damage if you have Tree of Redemption, Doran and Warmonger's. Or a turn after that you can swing with 27 damage if you've used Tree's ability. (Ofcourse, you have Stalwart Shield-Bearers and Vanguard's Shield to buff their toughness and hence their power, too. So in best case scenario you could deal even more, but unless going against life gain, not needed.)Second stragedy lies within Wall of Blood, which you might notice that the deck is slightly build around for. Technically you can blast out 19 damage combo on turn 4 on your enemy's face with pumping Wall of Blood to 19/19 and casting either Essence Harvest or Rite of Consuption, but this is risky against burn or counter spells. Ideally you want to wait till you get a Sheltering Word to back up your plan.With this combo you can also take down multiple opponents down at the same time, in turn 5 or 6.If all else fails, just turtle till you either peck them down or explode them with your combo.
