How to Play

Generally you will want to get out 4(2 Islands,2 Swamps) to 6(3 Islands, 3 Swamps) lands, by then you can start throwing out things to put a wrench and start controlling opponents plays such as Nightveil Predator, Etrata the Silencer and Artful Takedown.
You can win Alternatively by shuffling through and thinning your deck to net 3 hit counters with Etrata, Or You can deck them out via Disinformation Campaign. Things like Whispering Snitch and Enhanced Surveillance can keep you in the game by allowing you to trade your life to prolong till you have the tools as well as prevent self mill with a deck reshuffle which is very handy when they do remove cards you want back. The Interesting card that opponents rarely know how to deal with is Lavaz himself , you can copy any card they may have removed from play if its in your graveyard, in most cases you'll be using him to grab Etrata the Silencer or even Nightveil Predator. Basically he can be your magical 6th copy of any creature in your deck. Early plays will be getting things out like Thoughtbound Phantasm, Dimir Spybug and even Nightveil Sprite to start beefing up and force some reactionary plays from your opponents. Keeping things like Artful Takedown and Price of Fame in hand to deal with anything threatening can go along way with clearing your way through their defense or threats. House Guildmage can serve as both a tool to help thinn out and get what you want but more importantly to lock-down threats with 2 mana to keep things in your control.
