Deck Description

I've been working on a deck that is flexible in a lot of ways- poison, mill, damage, and control- along with a few chaotic elements that act as a fail-safe.

The deck seems a bit stronger than my budget MTGO blue deck and the winning percentage seems slightly higher at around 60%.

It is a new deck, so I do not yet have a side deck for this and it is a bit of a work in progress.

Obviously, the combination of unblockable attackers and the trepanation blade is extremely helpful. Corrupted Conscience and Mind Control allow you to take what you need from an opponent and Blasphemous Act can clear the entire field if need be.

The deck, however, would not be complete without Scrambleverse. Scrambleverse keeps things very interesting in any round and might in a desperate situation turn things around. Of course, Scrambleverse is bound to disappoint at times, but nevertheless, if you need to use it, you are probably losing anyway.

One weakeness in the deck is the 22 lands. The Alloy Myr's help make up for it a bit, but normally I like to stick with a more comfortable number like 24.

Overall, it is a fairly flexible deck. Trepanation blade helps add extra damage while Milling, Razor Swines have a great first strike for defense, and the Neurok Invismancer can make a seemingly blockable creature unblockable for one turn.
