What kind of burn deck doesn't have 4x lightning bolts and lava axes? :p

I don't see the purpose of red, really... You could do much better with blue-black control, add neurok invisimancers. Unblockable 4/3's with infect can really screw some stuff up. The deck you have right now is too unfocused :) the red serves no purpose that can't easily be filled by a blue or black creature.
If it isn't for vintage play, i suggest contagion engines to get 2x mod counters per creature per turn :o...
How creative :p...

The whole win condition is kinda luck- based, i suggest some lil' beastey atrifacts &_& smaller myrs are perfect for blocking and mana generation in the early game.

When was the last time you saw a life gain in a top 8? Not just in tourneys, but at a friday night magic. Take the deck apart and find one or two aspects that you really want to fixate on. It kind of looks like you got a fat pack and stuck all of your favorite stuff in one deck.
You need to run 4x grindclocks, 4x thrummingbird :)... Oh yeah! 4x steady progress, with those, you will have your grindclocks decimating your opponents deck. Oh yerh, since you're playing black, i don't see why there are not diabolic tutors in there.
