Get heartless online and dump fatty after fatty. Plenty of creature destruction against agressive decks and as for control, just keep casting, blue runs out of counters even with snapcaster before you run out of creatures. With DA I'm thinking of finding a slot or 2 for black Mikaus.. Because fatties with undying just seems fun. Also thinking about desperate ravings to dig for Heartless and pitch excess land. Also, contemplating 2 copies of liliana just for additional edicts. Though part of me feels like 4 tribute, 4 slagstorm and 4 verdict should have hexproof covered? No Black Sun you say?? I opted for slagstorm for mana efficiency early game, and death's hold to combo with massacre/inferno bolt.

Slagstorm doesn't hits creatures with hexproof. The card says that slagstorm deals damage to the creatures and not the whole field.

Bluesfan, you are mistaken, slagstorm deals 3 damage to every creature on the battlefield, it is a global effect and functions just like wrath of god / day of judgement. Only creatures that are indestructable or protection from red are uneffected, hexproof only stops targeted removal.
