Deck Description

This is a budget deck I designed I used to play back in the early days of Magic's existence, slightly updated with some newer cards in the main deck. The older cards have been placed in the sideboard. When I last played this deck, I won 62 games in a row with it before retiring it from play.

How to Play

Clones, Vesuvan Shifters or Doppelgangers to copy the Serra Angels, for damage, and cheaper counter counterspells without the drawbacks for deflection, as well as a couple of disenchants for good measure. Privileged Position to keep your cards from being destroyed. Merchant Scroll to grab a counterspell. Esper Panorama to fetch Plains and Islands as needed.

Swords to Plowshares could be swapped in place of the Disenchants. I would have included Force of Will or Daze in this deck but they are not cost efficient for MTGO which is how I mainly play. Gilded Lotus could be swapped for the Lotus Vales.
