The Rakdos Merchant of Obliteration....Obviously the first thing I thought when I saw the Grey merchant was " i have to build a modern devotion deck...with obliterators and Geralf."I tried mono black but played it once and thought rakdos would be better - lightning bolt kills much - including opponents - terminate and red sideboard options make it a little more versatile.
Opening hand i hope for is phrexian arena, surgical extraction , thoughtseize and gravecrawler.Open with thoughtseize or inquisition, surgical extraction for funsies round two start with the weeners drop an arena and play the curve hope for an obliterator into a rakdos merchant. Or two obliterators into a merchant.
