Deck discussion for Orzhov Life Flux

I made an orzhov extort, lifegain and enchantment deck a little while back. It's possible to play well in a duel, but it's absolutely brutal in multiplayer. Check it out for some ideas if you want to, because I think your deck could be made more effective.

I looked at your deck and took your idea to use Nyx-Fleece Ram and Grim Guardian. Thanks!

Yeah, those combo well with Underworld Coinsmith! I like your heavy use of Stab Wound and One Thousand Lashes, they speed up the life loss a lot! Very cool :-)

I thought I would try out aligning my deck with your setup. After seeing how it works, I will tinker with it. I will give you credit in the deck description.

Well, in a duel with a Abzan deck today, Merciless Eviction saved me and Debt to the Deathless sealed me the win. Very close and exciting game.

Also played a six-player free-for-all. Three of the players scooped because I was maintaining control of the battlefield, but a Vintage deck ending up killing me, and then the other remaining player.

I have some more tweaks that I want to do. While I do like Extort, I might sway it back more towards enchantments.

Wow, impressive that you won in a duel :-) But it seems like the deck worked like it should: extort to survive, then either win through survival or with a powerful spell :-) Awesomeness!

And 3 out of 5 isn't all that bad either :D Also, keep in mind that you might have won if they hàdn't scooped! i've learned that it's good to keep all of your opponents alive as long as possible is a boon for you: they're victims for extortion, and the life you gain from them is always more than the damage they can throw at you.

What type of vintage deck killed you, if I may ask?

Yeah, I didn't really want them to scoop because of that, I gain more life if they stay in the game. All three that scooped weren't getting the mana they needed. I was also playing exceptionally well so it was very discouraging for them.

The Vintage deck was an Angel/artifact deck. I figured if ALL of us had been playing Standard things probably would have been different. And, again, if everyone had stayed until they were killed. Either way, it was still fun.

Yeah, it happens. Either way, good news for your deck :-)
