Deck Description

This was my tournament deck back in the alara/zendikar days when Jund was very popular. I brought it to Grand Prix DC and went 3/3 before dropping. The one thing I can say about this deck is that it is very fun to play.

Memorable moments:
1. Versus a polymoph deck my opponent resolves an emrakul. I force him to sacrifice it by drawing my final land needed for cruel ultimatum and playing it.
2. Double ultimatums against a bant soverigns of lost alara deck.
3. Resolving Nicol Bolas against U/W control and taking over the game.

Very fun deck and it is always satisfying to put bolas or an ultimatum out.

How to Play

Early game plays kind of like the classic jund deck. Fast creatures, Bloodbraid cascade, etc. While you do that, you'll be accelerating your land into an ultimatum or bolas for a grand finale.
Most of the time your fast creatures will win the game by themselves.

Deck discussion for The Ultimatum of Bolas

Wow, I had not realized the fetchlands had increased so much in value. Substituting for other dual lands should work just as well.
