I have no idea how this deck plays out, but from what I can tell, it looks like Primal Surge, if resolved, should be an instant win. With how the deck could be ordered Craterhoof Behemoth might come out too early for lethal in terms of how many creatures it could haste out. Only reason I didn't say Akroma's was because it hastes everything passively. Looking again I noticed Maelstrom Wanderer which gives your creatures haste. So Akroma's could be cut if you wanted to.
However Akroma's gives pro Red/Black which is where most creature removal comes from. Just a thought.

Pir
Mistuctter Hydra
Lightning Greaves

I love this deck. One thing that might be useful keeping in theme with the creatures is the Melira, Sylok Outcast & Glen Elendra Archmage combo. This allows you to sac Glen Elendra to counter a Noncreature spell and the persist trigger brings her back and with Melira out you can do that as many times as you have mana to do it. I think this would be super useful because creature decks tend to have difficulty with responding to the stack.

Something else you could add with Melira in mind is Woodfall Primus and a sacrifice outlet (Id go with Ashnod's Altar in this case for your deck). This will allow you to destroy permanents in Temur without spells which is crazy in my opinion.

I would also make room for Craterhoof Behemoth, its just an amazing card for a creature deck.

I think that this deck is really cool and when possible you could totally go off with Primal Surge. In my opinion you should drop the Cyclonic rift, add Melira, Glen Elendra, Woodfall, Craterhoof and Ashnod's Altar this would require 4 more cuts(plus Cyc rift) but I think it would be worth it for the Surge to win.

Like I said before, love the deck. Take what you want from my comment but have fun anyways!

I think the idea is to get to one quickly and pay until you get close to 1 or 1 itself.
But I do agree with what you said, you cannot pay life you don't have which is not the same as losing life through effects like Shock or Combat Damage.

So in theory getting to 1 or even 2 life would not allow you to pay 2 life to say Immolating Souleater's ability because you would go to -1 or 0 respectively.

There are other neat cards from older sets that say you lose life rather than paying life that might be of more interest if this deck is for Vintage.

Id recommend these cards:
I HIGHLY recommend this card: Phyrexian Etchings >> Allows for lots of mana and cards over time and is a turn 3 drop. Because it says you lose life you can negate that putting you to below 1 with angel's grace. You could set up an interesting combo that allows you to Sac or destroy Etchings to make you lose life really quickly.
Audacious Thief >> Allows for a body on the board and card draw when it attacks

Besides that I think this deck is really cool and might make a similar style deck!

In theory, the Cat Oven combo isn't the win con of the deck. A combination of the life drain from Dread Presence, Ob Nixilis & Underworld Dreams and Gary to finish. I feel that a win condition with a bit more than 2 components becomes a bit harder to deal with because it forces your opponent to handle multiple different situations at once.

The deck is really cool too! I completely overlooked Deathless Knight and think he is a good card for a Black or Green Devotion deck.

Ooh I have indeed heard of that card. The idea is speed so on best case scenario you kill yourself turn 1/2.

Might I suggest what might be a more effective way at doing direct damage to your opponent?
- Blood Artist
While going infinite turns, the only way to do direct damage is with attacking but seeing as this deck doesn't have extremely big creatures it might be beneficial to run blood artist.
If that's not much your taste then maybe a couple copies a of bigger creature would be good.
I'd suggest Salvage Titan, but with it I'd find a way to add a couple more artifacts so that you are able to cast him for free. Other possible artifacts could be like, Darksteel Citadel, Blinkmoth Urn, Golem's Heart.

However I do like this deck a lot, I like the tech it goes for, I had made a similar deck a bit ago.

Fair Point, I totally forgot that card existed. I think maybe sideboarding Valakut might be best.

In theory I think it could but it would require a lot dual lands, i.e. Blood Crypt, but those lands get expensive fast.
