Deck Description

Pretty standard zombie horde deck for standard. I don't want to stick anything too expensive in this deck (the exception being the Grave Titans, because I already have them). That's why I have Victim of Night on the sideboard instead of Go For The Throat.

The basic idea is to use discards and creature removal to stall while I build up the horde.

I could really use some feedback and suggestions!

I like the deck but I am wondering where these cards: Moan of the Unhallowed, Call to the Grave, Army of the Damned (only 1 at most)

Please comment on my decks please

I don't have Call to the Grave because that would make me sacrifice Grave Titans (which I really don't want to do).

I could potentially find room for Moan of the Damned and Army of the Damned, but I'm not sure what I would cut to do that.

After thinking about it, I've decided against using Army of the Damned. The odds of needing it are far too low to justify spending $6-$7 on it (trying to keep this cheap, remember?). Also, the coming in to play tapped makes it much harder to turn a likely defeat into a victory.

Moan of the Damned still seems like a solid enough option, but I'm on the fence about it.

Still, I've made a few changes (details are in the main description). Thoughts would be appreciated!

Take Pharaohs off your deck. That will save you time and make the deck faster ( add one more skinrender and another Endless Ranks of the dead)

Add Sheoldred if you want (my deck is built around him and It helps me grow my horde while opponent sacrifices his creatures - also helps me when a creature i need is on graveyard).

Dont use Moan of the Unhallowed. You can get twice the tokens with just 3 mana (mimic vat + grave titan) and also a 6/6 deathtouch with haste EVERY TURN.

Hope I could help xD

Made some more changes!

Anyone have sideboard ideas? Specific decks that I need to think about countering?

Id recommend Go for the Throat in the sideboard incase of coming across any black decks or such so you can switch out your doom blades. Id have to think on your deck to offer some suggestions but its a pretty solid deck.

As I said in the description, I'm unwilling to spend the money on Go For The Throats for such a specific counter, which is why I have Victim of the Night on my sideboard instead. The only thing I can't remove between Victim and Doom Blade are black zombies.

So I've derped on my reasoning behind Victim of Night a little, forgot about black Vampires as well.

So between the two of them, the big cards I can't remove and would always want to are Olivia, Grimgrin, and Bloodline Keeper. Any others that I am forgetting about?

Fortunately, Skinrenders have no problem sticking these guys with -3/-3 (and having them in Mimic Vats is all kinds of fun).

I'm thinking of putting some Vengeful Pharaohs on to the sideboard as a deterrent for mill decks.

Do you guys think a Pharaoh would actually be effective in this capacity? Also, if I did have him on the sideboard and I was playing against a mill deck, what do you think would be the best candidates for swapping out? (I'm thinking Grave Titans and/or Skinrenders)

Done some more updates. Maindecked Victim of Night, sideboarded a bunch of stuff, including Tribute to Hunger for Vampire or Zombie decks and Witchbane Orb for certain RDW and mill decks. Added a Ghost Quarter because I apparently own one, and why not?

Try to get a hold of some Grave Crawlers now when Dark Ascension is released to switch out.. maybe:

-1 mimic vat
-1 Endless ranks
-1 Skinrender

Maybe? ^^ But for now, this looks really solid, I personally have not found any need for 4 Endless ranks tho, because it takes a while to build up an army anyway :)

Oh, and I think 2 unbreathing Horde is enough, again, it takes some time to build an amount of zombies to make then strong :)

also, I think you should get Zobie Apocalypse. Its a card for a late-game wipe. Works really well against W/G humans, which are getting a boost next pack.
