a deck based around creature sacrifice and summoning out huge hulking demons. satan would be proud :)the deck style has a very vorthosian approach, and it has a story to it:The Shadowborn Apostles gather at Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to call upon the legendary demon Griselbrand. The Cabal Coffers ring with the sinister chants as their high priests call upon cackling Shadowborn Demons to complete the pact. The grim singing of the Dark Ritual is rejoined by screams as the hideous devils start ripping into the apostles, a sacrifice necessary for the pact's completion. The candles burn with a bright purple light and the smell of sulfur is rank as a newly summoned Liege of the Pit joins in the fray, bringing torment and despair in its wake. Inch by inch the macabre halls fill with blood and one by one every cleric falls to a demon's blade. A Deathgreeter smiles in his death rattle as a Demon of Death's Gate plunges his claw into the final priests heart, pulling out the still-beating organ and laying it on the altar. The room grows quiet as every flame is extinguished all at once, leaving only the altar glowing with a sickly greenish pale to brighten the room. The Grinning Demons growl with anticipation, their prey's blood still dripping from their lipless maws. A voice is heard from within the darkness, rasping with a chilled breath, "Tonight, I call upon your Immortal Servitude, ye Minions of Leshrac. Tonight we hunt, and we feast upon the witch who thought she slew me." A dry wind whirls through the chamber as Griselbrand spreads his wings, each other demon doing likewise as a roar of triumph fills the air. Plan A: sacrifice apostles to summon the lord satan -- imean Griselbrand to the battlefield. Proceed to smash face. rinse and repeat with immortal servitude.Plan B: use the deathgreeter + dark prophecy combo to cheat on the pacts made with the lesser demons (liege, minion, death's gate). see plan A for what to do next.Plan C: sit there and die to the lifeloss. no reward without a little risk eh? besides, its all for the glory of satan, so screw it and have a little fun \m/
