Deck Description

This is a new version of the mono-green aggro deck I was running in RTR Standard.

Since I lost Kalonian Tusker it didn't feel as fast as it was before, I decided to go with a different approach and just run over my opponents.

The hydras and monstrosity work well with Nylea and Tuskguard to allow me to get my damage through. Along with the bow and Tuskguard make a nice little combo and enabling the trample effect.

The sideboard is still in building so any suggestions are welcome.

How to Play

Smash through the opponents line and put them on the defense.

Hero of Leina - used for a easy beater. Has potential to become a monster late game.
Genesis Hydra - You can cast Gensis for only 2 and still have a good chance of hitting a playable permanent., also helps with ramp up the devotion.
Hooded Hydra - The morph helps with the curve, and you can use the snakes as chump blockers as you gather your army.

Deck discussion for Green-Devotion Hydra Trample

There's this 3/2 centaur for 2 green mana, which can easily replace your Tower Archer. Also, how about that other centaur which you can tap for mana equal to your devotion to green? Forgot the name as well :p It's a 4cmc creature uncommon.

Swordwise centaur is nice but it dies to magma jet and searing blood. While against jeskai and it's flyers the archer cannot be burned down (except for spells that target all creatures) in the late game block mantis rider and other creatures.

The second card you are speaking of is Karametra's Acolyte she is good but not what I'm really going for in this deck.
