Deck Description

For the deck challenge to make a Norin the Wary deck, I decided to turn it into an infinite combo. It's not likely to ever work as it involves like 6 cards, but still, it makes me giggle because it's infinite :D.

There are technically two infinite combos in this deck. One is the Panoptic Mirror / Time Warp infinite turns combo. The other is the 0 cost Kobolds / Cloudstone Curio combo used in storm decks. Put both together, add in Norin the Wary and Pandemonium and you have infinite damage and infinite lulz.

Don't bother telling me it's totally unrealistic... I know already :P

Deck discussion for Norin the Wary infinite lulz (and damage)

Your pandemonium combo does not work, the kobolds have 0 power and won't deal any damage and norin will disapear when the first kobold hits the field and won't be back until end of turn, even if you could return him to hand with the curio you would still have to pay mana to play him again.

When a Kobold is played, Norin will be exiled. At the end of your turn, he enters the battlefield under your control again, allowing you to trigger Pandemonium and deal 2 damage. Since you have infinite turns, you can do it until your opponent is dead.

Ah, so the crucial part to your infinite damage combo is infinite turns. I see, my bad I didn't realise you were using both together for the infinite damage (I clearly did not read the summary carefully)

Hehe no worries man, it's a complicated combo Lol. Yea, to get infinite damage it requires both other infinite combos to be in place. Obviously it will almost never occur in a real game, but it's amusing to look at :). Sometimes I go for pure giggle-factor with decks, rather than playability Lol.

Very interesting. Why not add in Kobold Task Master just in case the infinite turns don't happen?

Lol good idea Roughneck. If I wanted to make this slightly more playable I would probably change a few things. For one, it would most likely end up 70 cards, like many of your own decks. It would need some kind of stall mechanism (a dang good one) to allow all the needed cards to come out. Like I said though, it's just fun to look at Lol.

Agreed.

As for my decks being 70 cards, I actually took an 80 card deck to one of the three FNM's I've gone to and people asked me if I had two decks in my box that I forgot to separate. Then I demolished them. HA!

Lol nice. I need to figure out how to make decks like you do. I always get ruined at FNM :( I've only placed one time, and it was 4th.

It's all in the game play and the bluff. I focus more on the wider view of the game than the other guy instead of just seeing what cards he has on table. I make sure I know if he has a hand, about how many cards are in it, and how long certain cards have been in there if I can. Hell, I even try to figure out how he arranges his hand so I have an idea of what he draws based on where he puts it. I also try to be as inconsistent as possible, such as putting cards in my hand in random places or arranging my cards to suggest something's important when it's not. It's amazing just how much a person's sub-conscience shows in how they do things.
