I use the convoke/buyback combo or the glare of subdual for my schoolmaster tap ability. I used the evangel before I was losing too much to trample decks that my creatures couldn't stop the glare removes that problem.

Door would be more useful but I already own the coat of arms and I live on a budget so that was a cost dicision.
I would add those cards however this deck was made to be modern legal as a challenge from a friend of mine.
