Deck discussion for 5 color sliver deck

Add Ancient Ziggurat and you should also add some more five color lands like City of brass

I would recommend Darksteel Ingot for mana generation too.

DO you really need to run some of those slivers? Maybe cut a few out to run more of certain ones?

this really is a bad deck

first of all 59 is illegal minimum is 60

you need more lmand and more special lands

you need multiple copies of certain slivers depenfding if you will play counter slivers or aggro
i recommend counter

you hav eso much slivers taht are useless and your choice of putting only one of each is really bad.

sorry but this is one of the baddest sliver decks i ever saw

OK first off only comment what you know. you have no idea what a sliver deck is. you don't know the rules of magic. The amount is 40 to 60. its pointless to have more then one copy of a sliver because giving you slivers first strike twice doesn't help at all.

actually, a deck consists of 60-120 cards. it is recommended that it be 40 spells, 20 lands. (a 60 card deck generally plays the best) maybe that guy didnt, but i know exactly what sliver decks are. i run 3 seperate ones as of right now. you must have focus with these kind of decks. multiple cards of the same sliver is essential. and it is extremely essential in a multi colored sliver deck to run multiple gemhide slivers, to ensre that you have at least one out. also, it is extremely advantageous to have muscle slivers and/or sinew slivers. and btw... Kaim_arouet knew exactly what he was talking about.

and btw, a decent portion of the slivers.. except for the one you mentioned.. have abilities that stack. for instance.. if you have four poisonous slivers out, it becomes poisonous 4. not four seperate slivers with poisonous 1. or all slivers get +1 +1 becomes +4 +4. same goes for flanking. same goes for the brood slivers ability if you have multiples of him on the battlefield. gemhide does not, because his is an activated ability.

Well as a Sliver player my self I find that multiple slivers do come in handy especially when you the target of everyone else that is playing. Also having multiple slivers gives you a fall back (ie Gemhide Sliver) as every deck sliver or not needs a fall back. Now with only one Spitting Sliver there is a rare possibility that you will be able to do anything till it gets out as well as the lack of boosting for your slivers (only one Might Sliver). However I can see that your sliver deck is based on defense allowing your opponent to increase your slivers strength. However overall I would say that your kill factor lies in 2 cards, Virulent Sliver, and Shifting Sliver. Those are my thoughts and no you cant holler and whine that I don't know the rules and don't play Slivers cause I do. As well as have my deck listed. Take a look at it if you want.

This is a terrible sliver deck. Sliver haver diferent kinds of strategy, like the "weenie rush" of cheps sliver with muscle/sinew. O control with some necrotics or telekinetic. Yeah sliver acts like enchament, but no wen some guy cast a terminate o wrath of god, damnation, mutilate, evacuation, etc... You need spells and backup for you creatures. Yeah you only need sliver creatures, but that is not the only card beside land you need to have. 1 copy of each one also a terrible idea, focus on the best ones of the idea you have. I invite you to look my sliver deck and you will see that have te essencials ones for the strategy, dont be such and ass and take some advices from ppl and learn.
