Just a red pauper deck designed around the simple theme of burning my opponent to a crisp, defended by a simple and not-so-subtle set of walls (or creatures with defender) to hold off the hordes until victory is achieved. The base deck listed is Modern legal, on the sideboard are: Scent of Cinder, Blazing Salvo and Flame Burst, if included, the deck would be Vintage/Legacy legal only.The sideboard, besides the older cards, includes extra cards of cards in the base deck, as well as cards that I pulled out simply because they were either less efficient, or were creature-target heavy; Rain of Embers & Sizzle are both terrific cards for multi-player games, but are less useful in head-to-head games;
Playtesting it in multiplayer revealed that it could not deal with too many threats at a time. Head to head, yeah, it has plenty of direct damage to target A player or a FEW flying threats that ignore your walls...but in multiplayer, ugh. My advice would be to pick your shots carefully. I need to find some flying red walls, otherwise, this deck may be slag.
